Yes!! He smiles!

Haha omg I had so much trouble with their faces!! >_< I totally just did a last minute liquify on the resized jpeg... and made some pretty drastic changes. And I completely repainted Snape's mouth too after the resize. (Snape went through about 50 faces before I settled on this one.) So... yeah now I've only got my final image on this crappy little jpg file. Awesome.

Oh yeah, this is Snape and Lily, from the wonderful world of Harry Potter. ^^ After sketching this, I reread The Prince's Tale for more inspiration, but it only made me cry. so... that was a bad idea.

Hm... not much else to say. I'll probably end up changing their faces again in a couple of minutes. Apologies in advance for any resubmissions I will be making. XD

Lines done in Painter, coloring in Photoshop.

This is really cute, and I like the little bend in Snape's nose. However, Lily kinda looks like her head is growing out of Snape's shoulder. XD

Haha yeah I know it freaks me out too. I had to do an over-sketch to convince myself that it's even remotely conceivable for her to have a neck and ... other body stuff.

But actually, I made them siamese on purpose as a metaphor for their... um... hydratic relationship. (wtf I think I might have just made up a word there.)

OMG YES that book is so gorgeous!! I was JUST thinking of buying that book like 2 seconds ago. I think I might. It's definitely worth several rereads.
