Behind the Glasses

New best thing related to Harry Potter: A Very Potter Musical.

I just watched it today, and I am in love. Seriously, I think the cast is amazing; I think all the writers are amazing. It's just... bloody brilliant. And it inspired me to draw some hot sexy Harry Potter fanart.

This is Harry Potter. I'm so pleased with how the teeth turned out, because honestly, if you don't know how to draw teeth, they're like the most intimidating thing in the world. Actually, I just really love how he looks. I wish I had this image in my head while I was reading the books; I would have loved Harry so much more. (Instead I got fuckin Radcliffe corrupting everything...)

Reason for lack of glasses:
While I was painting this, I saved the glasses for last because I figured it would be a lot easier that way. And then when I added them he just looked like such a TOOL that it made me sad. And I suddenly realized: Harry Potter's glasses are retarded. I mean, they're fine for when he's the poor kid stuck under a cupboard, but no grown man (or 17-year-old even) would wear those round wire frames. Get some bloody contacts, man!! Or magically fix the shape of your eyeballs.

So I ditched the glasses. Because I think the picture looks better that way. But I might post the glasses version later if anyone is really really curious.
