Hello chumps!

So I just took a nice, month-long break from dA. Now I have over 200 messages that I may or may not end up looking at. I don't know if there were any new watchers in there, but if so: thank you, welcome, and I HOPE YOU LIEK ANIMEEE!!!! Because I'm gonna start drawing it again!

and I have decided that it is ABOUT DAMN TIME we starting making some money from all this art-stuff we do. So we're going to try to get to some cons in the future and get a table and SELL some shit. We figured that anime fanart is easier to market than original stuff, which is why I'm on this new (old) mission to master an anime style. I don't feel too guilty about this, since I've always believed that decent artists should be able to mimic any style. So why not finish what I set out to do when I first started drawing oh-so-long-ago?

First, I'm going to learn how to draw chibis. As disgusting as they are to some people, they are also disgustingly cute sometimes. So there's a heads up for what might be appearing in my gallery in the near future...
(I'll still keep making my normal stuff, of course. Drawing nothing but chibis for an extended period of time would actually kill me, I think.)

And now I'd like to ask you: WHAT IS POPULAR NOW? Seriously, I'm still stuck in the Sailor Moon/Pokemon era. Baha I'm a bit behind the times when it comes to anime. I remember the recent Naruto/Bleach/Death Note phase... are people still nuts about those or have they pretty much moved on? If any of you are anime fans, what series do you like?

PS. Oh, and concerning requests: I've got a bunch on my list, but I don't know whether I'll be able to get to them. So let's just say that requests are closed for now. (Sorry!) I'm starting to consider taking commissions as a possibility. I still have to think about it though. Would any of you commission me if I offered them? It would be pretty cheap, compared to whatever other artists are charging... Let me know!
